Window sills are the first line of defence against water tracking into your building fabric. Standard PVC sills wear, crack, and fail to project far enough — especially on insulated or high-rise facades. An aluminium over sill sits on top of any existing sill and casts water clear, with no penetrations and no compromise.
PROJECT EXAMPLE
High-rise over sill with structural calculations
On a recent high-rise project, our over sills had to project past steel reinforcing and cover an insulated EWI system. We provided full structural calculations and designed a 45° slope to prevent pigeon nesting - something standard PVC sills simply can't accommodate.
