TIG Welding

The cleanest weld available.
Used when finish matters.

TIG welding gives Sysclad's skilled welders maximum control over the arc and heat input — producing clean, precise, aesthetically superior welds on aluminium, stainless steel, and other demanding materials.

What TIG welding is

Precise, controllable, and clean — the benchmark for quality welding.

TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to create the arc, with filler material added separately by hand. The welder has complete control over heat input, arc length, and filler deposition — making it the most precise welding process available.

The result is a weld that is smooth, consistent, and visually clean — with no spatter and minimal distortion. On materials like aluminium and stainless steel, where both structural integrity and surface appearance matter, TIG is the process of choice.

Benefits

Why TIG welding produces the best results on demanding materials

Maximum precision

Full manual control over arc, heat, and filler — the welder can respond to the material in real time, producing consistently accurate results.

Superior finish

No spatter, no flux residue, and smooth weld beads mean TIG welds require minimal post-weld finishing — critical on visible or painted surfaces.

Strong, clean joints

Full penetration welds with excellent mechanical properties — suited to structural joints where both strength and appearance are required.

Low distortion

Precise heat control minimises distortion in thin or heat-sensitive materials — important for aluminium and stainless steel fabrication.

Complex joint geometries

Manual control makes TIG the right choice for tight corners, thin sections, and joints that MIG or spot welding can't access cleanly.

Skilled, experienced welders

TIG is a highly skilled process — Sysclad's welders have the expertise to deliver consistent quality on even the most demanding applications.
