ALUMINium TRUNKING

Sysclads Trunking improves the aesthetics of the building by covering up unsightly pipes and protects them from exposure. It can be supplied with or without punched louvres which are used when covering gas pipes so that any possible leak will not result in a build-up of gas whilst ensuring that any such leak is detectable.

The sides of the duct should be sealed back to the wall with an approved sealant as gas escaping into mineral fibre should be stopped.

Electrical ducts should be suitably earthed.

These ducts can be supplied with corners, lids, and joint clips.

Wiki reference - The term trunking is used in the United Kingdom for piping and electrical wireways, generally rectangular in cross section with removable lids.
